So I try to lose weight. Nothing organized, no calorie counting, nothing like that. I have a few bad habits that as long as I avoid them, I lose weight at an acceptable rate. I've dropped about 45 pounds from my high a few years back, back when I was sure the scale was broken.

I hopped on the scale Monday just to see where things were after the illness, then I went back to mostly business as usual as far as eating and activity go. So after two straight days surrounded by chocolate, ham, and all kinds of other "not-so-good-for-me" things, imagine the surprise when I got on the scale this morning and I'd dropped a pound from Monday.

I am a liiiiittle behind in posting. I didn't even take a picture this week. And it isn't wednesday. Hehe. Whoops.

April 7th weight: 152 (scale is off by 7 pounds, so I really weigh 159, but I like it better this way)
April 14 weight: 150 (yay!)

I am ready to kick this baby weight! Last time it took me forever to lose it and I am going to do everything within my power to speed it up (safely and within reason). I am counting calories and starting (slowly) to run again. Or, you know, walk briskly. But running sounds like exercise. If I say, "I'm going for a walk," it sounds leisurely.
